We were excited about receiving the first order of a bunch of bamboo delivered by Bamboobouw Nederland. They are only half the size of the indigenous bamboo called Yushania Alpina with which we will build in West-Kenya. Nevertheless, these bamboo poles with a diameter of 7-9 cm are perfectly suited for our 1:2 prototype which will be build in the beginning of December to test the joints, spans and the constructive system.
